I have used the link to abtain some google gadgets for my site. Well I copied and pasted the script that was given to me and placed it on the site and the site banned me..!! So i unbanned myself and then created a block and activated it thru the blocks area and placed it on the center bottom portions of the main page. Well now the problem is that the gadgets appears outsdie the block not inside the black box. Any one have any ideas on how to make it appear inside and not outside.

Did you create the block through code and upload it? OR did you try to use that provided textarea in admin?

I used the code that was given to me at google gadgets. since it it would ban me if i tried to use the block creator int PHP admin i created the block and then inserted it in the blocks folders and activated it that way.. its showing but its outside the box not inside like its suppose to. Hmm.. I think what your saying is you used the block textarea found in admin. That will not work for javascript.

You need to create a file manually and upload it to your blocks folder through ftp. You can start by using our blocks creator in the tools section of the site. (found in the menu).

Be careful, it tends to strip the first two characters out of some lines.

No I did not use the block thru the PHPadmin becuase that would ban me from mysite.

I created the block and uploaded it to the blocks area then acticvated the block. But im not sure if you even wen to the site? Did you see the ipTracker that is in red? well that thing is suppose to me inside the blask box that is right under it that says "there is currently no content for this block".

Thats what i mean. Hope this helps you to help me better understand the issue and hopefully reach a fix.

The problem is most likely that you did not put your code in the proper $content tags.

Code:

$content = "this is my first line of content";
$content .= "This is another line";
$content .- "If I had another we could continue this forever";

You don't have to use multiple lines, but that is the format if you need too.

I was able to get it to work. If any one needs to know how to do this please post and I will post it for you guys.

I did not the codding for this. Someone else was helpful and did the scriting for me for it to work properly.
