Post Add a header logo. Posted: Mon May 26, 2008 9:36 pm

I just downloaded XD-Obstuse. It has flash on both sides of the header. But the center is empty. I want to be able to add a logo in the center of it but I do not know what code to add & where to add it. If it is any help the logo I have made is 407x257.

Not an easy one shepard, thats the limitations im affraid when using full width themes.

You might be able to add one by abusing CSS but its not going to be a simple 2 minute hack..

MAKE A BACKUP OF ANY FILES MENTIONED BELOW BEFORE YOU START

try this

open up your themes css themes/XD-Obstuse/style/style.css

add anywhere !!

Code:
.imagecenter { text-align: center }

this is the tricky part

open the themes header themes/XD-Obstuse/header.html or header.php or similar (maybe in the theme.php) i wouldn't know with out looking at the theme.

Add in between the flash

Code:
<div class=”imagecenter”>
<img src=”YOURLOGO.gif” width=”" height=”" alt=”" />
</div>

thats the basics you will have to tweek, play to get it perfect.. the hardest part will be finding where to add the <div tags in the header
