I know this was asked in the past, and I posted it before, but I was asked again through messenger and I figured it would be a good spot to post how to do it.

Files to edit: 1
Time to edit: 1 min

Open "ROOT/header.php"


Find in there a section that goes like this.

echo "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC \"-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN\">\n";
   echo "<html>\n";
   echo "<head>\n";
   echo "<title>$sitename $pagetitle</title>\n";



Add this line below the echo "<title>$sitename $pagetitle</title>\n"; part...
Note: Not all headers will be the same, but as long as you put it under the line that sortof looks like that as I mentioned, It should work.

   echo "<meta http-equiv=\"Page-Enter\" content=\"revealTrans(Duration=3.0,Transition=0)\">";
    echo "<meta http-equiv=\"Page-Out\" content=\"revealTrans(Duration=3.0,Transition=0)\">";


Once you have done that, edit the 0 inside the Transition=0 to any of the following numbers to the desired page transaction...
**Note: there are 2 of them, page in and page out, you must edit both of them.**

Page Transition Effect Styles:
Transition Code--------Effect Style

    1---------------------------Square Opening
    2---------------------------Circle Closing
    3---------------------------Circle Opening
    4---------------------------Scroll Up
    5---------------------------Scroll Down
    6---------------------------Scroll left to right

    8---------------------------Multiple scroll left to right
    9---------------------------Multiple scroll top to bottom
    10-------------------------Little square scroll left to right
    11-------------------------Little square scroll top to bottom
    12-------------------------Noise fade in
    13-------------------------Scroll meets in the middle
    14-------------------------Scroll starts in the middle
    15-------------------------Horizontal scroll meets in middle
    16-------------------------Horizontal scroll starts in middle
    17-------------------------Diagonal scroll from top right corner
    18-------------------------Diagonal scroll from bottom right corner
    19-------------------------Diagonal scroll from top left corner
    20-------------------------Diagonal scroll from bottom left corner
    21-------------------------Horizontal bars fading in
    22-------------------------Vertical bars fading in
    23-------------------------Displays a random transition




Note: I also believe this will only work on IE and maybe a few others, but not on FireFox.

For those who are wondering what will the effect be on the people with non compliant browsers such as FireFox, Well nothing will happen. FireFox and maybe a few others will not recognize it and will basically Ignore it, to put it in layman's terms.

Yeah, I know that, fortunately. But I do think there are a few others out there that it will also work on that uses almost the same platform as IE, like Maxthon. Other then that, Browsers like Opera, Safari, and Netscape, I don't know about. I don't use them, but at one time I did use Maxthon and if I remember correctly, it did work.

Thanks for making it a sticky, I just figured since people are asking, why not just make a post that has it in the title. Me personally, not a fan of it, but some are.
