Images won't add to blocksPosted:

I'm having issues with adding images to my website. I've tried adding images to blocks of my website using both IMG and HTML code via the add html button in the block editing window. When I click update the image will appear in the block window but, when I hit save and the website updates the image disappears and doesn't appear in the block. When I go back to the block I put the image in and look at the code, the majority of the code is missing. Does anyone have an idea what's going on with that? I've tried several different ways and I keep getting the same results. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if that would work for you guys, but I saved myself the trouble and time and used the banner block to have photos in my website, renamed the block and it's working great.
here you can check it on my website www.bhzclan.com
it's the last center block.
it might serve what you guys need

Ped is right about modern versions of nuke.....
Just like ANY new release of ANYTHING, its going to have Bugs, ( New isnt always Better ) also see topic titled phpBB3 -vs- nukeBB and youll see what i mean!
as for embedding images... HTML tags all the way!
Code:
<img border="0" src="http://www.url_to_img.png">
or
Code:
<img border="0" src="/images/url_to_img.png">
Also...if you going to be uploading images to your servers, try to keep them organized and in 1 location, that way later on down the road, if you find your images being hotlinked on another site, you can simply write one .htaccess file to block hotlinking! ( Saves yourself Bandwidth )

I gotta tip my hat to you guys. I'm so glad I found this community because you are so amazingly helpful. Mudgutz, your advice worked like a champ. I just added that little bit about the IMG tag and poof, it works like a champ now. You'd figure the guys at nuke would get that stuff squared away before release. It's not like site admins use html or img tags or anything right?
Ped, when I first brought my website up I initially used the latest version of raven nuke but, I had problems getting stuff to work how I liked. I figured I'd go with phpnuke just until I got more familiar with how everything works. I will try raven nuke again at some point. I'm very green at the whole website building experience but, thanks to some long hours, patience, and help from you fine people I'm slowly getting there. I value your help greatly. Thanks so very much.
