Here you go, Make backups of your style.css and your theme.php, then try these, do one at a time. start off with the styles.css and see if that works, if it does, then stop with that one, If not, then try the theme.php.

no go still not working thanks for trying tho update blah i had image in images folder just moved trying again

moved image to right place tried one at a time still not working thanks for trying to help tho

In the .css file of Dread, you have to edit the background-image and put url() around it, like this: background-image: url(themes/guildwars/gw006.jpg);

And if that doesn't work either, you might need to put this in front of it ../../../ , so it become like:
background-image: url(../../../themes/guildwars/gw006.jpg);

ok i add the ../ and i think it worked but the black background color is covering it up :)

shouldn't, the color is supposed to be behind the image. Are you sure you now just seeing a center block or something else cover it up?

yup black is coverin it up when i go to site i first see background image full size then it all goes black again

is there way to amke background color transparent and or lower opacity if their are codeing codes for that?
