Medals mod - so close!Posted:

Have installed the medals mod on both Nuke 7.9 and now Evo 2.0.7 and on both I get it all in ok. However, when I try and access medals.php I just get the 'cannot access this file directly' message and that's. I'm logged in as God Admin, I've checked and re-checked what I've done and I'm sure I've not missed anything.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why I cannot access the medals.php so I can actually assign some medals?
Also, can anyone recommend an integrated gallery for Nuke Evo? Apparently Coppermine, which I got installed in 7.9 ok, doesn't work with Evo.

There isn't a read me. There is a usageguide_en.txt and in that it says...

## 6. How to award my members with Medals?

1. Log in as Forum Admin or appointed as Medal Moderator
2. Go to http://xxx.xxx.xxx/xxx/medals.php (Page Header)
3. Select the Medal, click on "Medal Control Panel"
4. In "Username", type in the member's username
5. In "Award Reason", type in the reason
6. Click on Submit
When I navigate to point 2, I just get a white screen and in the top left it says "You can't access this file directly...".

Ok.
Hmm. Embarassing.
How do I explain that when the ever patient floppy first posted that link, I clicked it and then frowned when it took me nowhere. How do I explain that I singularly failed to see that where he had put 'yoursite' he actually meant MY site? How do I then explain that, yes, when I did that then the whole thing works perfectly.
I think it's probably best that I thank floppy for having the patience to present me with the solution not just once but twice.

Man I felt like a real chump, a genuine 'doh!' moment. Anyway, www.genesisgamingclan.org is where I'm building it for now, though it won't be staying there.
One last question; I can get the medals to display in the avatar area, but I can't get 'view more...' to appear as it does in the screenshots accompanying the mod. I set it up to display, for instance, 1 medal (and I set make sure it doesn't display randomly) but, if I assign two medals to the user then there's no way to see the others.
The screenies with it show that a link called 'view more...' should appear but no sign of it.
