Over the past year, with all the complaints about the major sites available..its about time some of us developers 'Gave' to the gaming community. We have enough talent here at clan-themes that i believe we should have no problem constructing and operating a system.
Graphics Development: ( Contact Ped or Floppy )
We will require a crap load of image work to be done ( Including Logos )..if youve got the tallent, and the time contact one of the above listed.
Anti Cheat Development: ( Contact Bayler or Ped )
Ive only limited experience with client to server programing...if anyone with experience in this area, please contact one of the above listed.
PHP, HTML, SQL, XML Development: ( Contact Floppy or Bayler )
Floppy and Bayler will be working together on the site and server scripting...but there is always room for experienced developers. If you would like to help in this area, please contact one of us...Please understand, you WILL be tested on basic knowledge before your granted access.
Government & Operation ( Contact Ped )
Policies, Procedures, and day to day Operations will take a fairly large Team. If you have ANY past experiance with ( Match ) organization, Please contact Ped!

wow...its been 6 days since the original post...and not one community has any questions, concerns or suggestions....
Ive been ALL over some of the more popular Ladder Forums like: TWL, CAL, OGL, & GameBattles...and there are plenty of people bitching about 'Options' and or 'Features' but not one community has the testicles to step up to the plate and take action...
Im going to assume that Gaming Communities actually 'LIKE' having those issues!
You will not recieve help from me if i have to go digging for your CMS information and version, If i have to take the time to play 21 questions, then you can take the time to google!
No Copyright, no support either!

My only suggestion, is ease of controlling it through the ACP. Meaning, like the NukeLadder 2.5.5 < I very much dislike the style of the ACP using the tabs. I am my admins find that control of the module is not well put out and we are disliking the tabs. I have noticed a few other people going with that style inside there modules, but I have to say that I am finding my self disliking them. Other then that, I hope it works unlike this one I am using, still working on the bugs. Any help I can throw out, ask and I will see what i can do.
I would looove to help out where possible. I actually have a gaming ladder and league but tbh im too affraid to let it go live as the script im using has major issues and they dont seem to be wanting to fix anything even tho people paid $120 dollars for it, so this would be a godsend to me to have a working bug free laddr/league/tourny script.
Im actually using EGL (Elite Gaming Ladder) and my site can be found <<<HERE>>> The skin im using for it is an edited version of there default theme found <<<HERE>>> I edited all the colors, box's and a few other things, i know it aint the best looking skin, but it was first attempt and it works wich is more than i can say for the script.
Any way this is an excellent idea for Clan-Themes to be doing this and i think it will generate alot of money for you if you decide to put it in the shop. Im already wanting to place my order :)
The few questions i have tho is....
1. How much is it expected to cost wich im sure what most people would like to know.
2. How much of it if not all will be coded (requiere a licsense) and how much of it open source.
3. Will the default theme be easy to edit?.
If you would like me compile a list of features for script then i can make up plenty of ideas ie tickets system, an exstensive user control panel with all the requierd profile info like steam id's and stuff.
I think mailny tho from clan themes point of view if it is gonna be sold in the shop then just dont allow what has happend to EGL and get it nulled coz that sux, specially after someone has paid for it :) so i think you must have the best security for it and code as much as possible. Also another idea that people like is having access to plenty of mods for it so people can choose wich mod they use and not use making Clan-Themes ladders/leagues/tourny sites look different.
As i said if you need input for what functions ect to have then count me in.
Ps would be more than happy to beta test anything aswell ;)

Oh sorry how much of a fool am i :) just relised and read original post in more detail and relised that its not a script your making for release but a site sorry anyway would still like to help out where poss and if its one thing i do have and thats plenty of time :)

ROFL, I did the same thing, I guess I mis read it, I thought it was going to be a script also, and not a site. hrm, dunno. I probably wouldn't go with that theme, for I seen that theme in allot of places already, meaning free html templet places. I also seen a few sites running it. Other then that, I don't know.
As for the script you mentioned StevieH, I agree, that does sound like something that would also be nice to have floating around. The one I am running now is buggy and not working so I am not using it. I am disecting the files trying to find the errors, but like to find something less buggy. I am also willing to help out on anything you might need help with.

God No..this is my second site ive constructed for Ladder & Tourney System... The first one i sold for a cheap 40$ ..that included 6 months of work, custom theme, & template system...Ladder Scripts 4 tourney mods, Domain, SONY Sponsorship Exec..Exec..
I wont make that mistake again...Dude did absolutely nothing with it..and within 1 year just ran it into the ground....Clan-Themes may decide to sell the site later down the road..but i guarantee it wont be for some cheap 40$ !
As For Features: ( PB_GUID & STEAM_ID ) Im way ahead of you..these features are already Coded per game..While STEAM is always the same and tied to the account..PB has an individual GUID per game..and all that is already in there!
I do however, encourage you to Keep presenting suggestions..my imagination sucks..i just build what i know it needs...
as for EGL..im very familiar with it...as well as Nuke-Ladder, Nuke-Match, MTeams, and a few others...( This site is operating off the old Titancore system..it has a nasty reputation for a script...but seems easy enough to modify for our needs.
If your serious about helping out..then we should Talk...PM me some contact Info.. (Teamspeak, Vent, MSN or whatever )!

I wouldent expect it would be as cheap as that as i see these kinda scripts sell for around about $200 with copywrite removel + an anual renewal fee for updates.

I would love to help out where possible whether it be from the ground up or being an admin/mod/ or even referee once running i would also like to help with any ad capaings.
If you need any scripts made for matches then i can also supply them cutomised to Clan-Themes ladders. Also i can donate a teamspeak channel if you like for developers to join to discuss things and for public. May be kool to have a Clan-Themes live support channel i for one would love to chat live to people about an issue i may be having, sometimes talking someone through something can be easier.
Anyway i will pm you my experiance and contact details if you like right after this post, and anything else relevent at to what i may be able to help you out with.
