Here is what I was thinking. The themes that you buy on your site have a set look to them and anybody that buys the same theme gets the exact same thing as somebody else. What I had in mind is actually coming up with different corner blocks for the themes that you produce for a certain theme. Then allow people to download the different corner blocks that are just a bit different from what they had. You could charge a small fee for them as the customers have already paid the big price for the main theme. This would allow the sites to make it look a little more custom without having to lay down the bigger bucks for a 100% custom theme. It would also allow somebody to change the look of the site from time to time just by uploading the new block imagages.

Sorry if I was a little vague or didn't use the correct terms. You know how each theme has the graphic files that go with it that determine what the blocks in the website look like. Well the blocks have a graphic file for the bottoms or each corner of the block. What I was thinking is making up new block images for the blocks within the actual theme. If they were the same names as the current ones it would be as easy as just replacing what is there. This would give a person a more custom looking site because they could pick what the left and right blocks of their theme looked like instead of the standard that comes with it. I know I would be willing to pay a few bucks to make my WoW theme look just a little different then everybody else that got it.

Yeah sounds cool but for the time it would take i dont know if it would work, i also dont know if people know but its very easy for us to actually customize a theme

so for the same price that the corner blocks would be on sale for, the individual could just request a modification to there theme, it sounds like a hlaf decent idea though and i thank you for taking your time out to explain it

I think its a good idea too.

when I purchased our first theme I was worried that there would be other clan sites using the same theme and it might be a bit awkward if more clans got it if we all had the same website. But then we started customising our them by ourselves and I didnt think about it anymore. So for those who can't do it themselves I think its a good idea, and extra options is always a good thing :)

What I was thinking of more PED was actually a blocks pack with 3 or 4 slight variations on what is currently used. Like in WoW them for instance. Take the current blocks and add just a little something to them. Like a vine the wraps along the bottom of the block or the WoW icon in the bottom right. No big changes just little additions and charge $20 bucks for the extra block images. This way a sight can change them out every so often. Like Oz said if you know what your doing you can modify them on your own. I wouldn't have a problem pulling everything into Photo shop and doing this but there are many others that would not be able to.

yeah i see your point, i might start adding a second blocks option to my themes as default, as i know users want a good looking site, and it pees you off when you visit another site and they have the same theme !!

you know what to do though dont you guys.... ask Clan themes to make you a one off theme !!

I was actually wondering PED what it would cost to get a new set of blocks made for my site. I purchased the WoW them from this site and might I add it is a very nice theme. However the blocks are just very bland and I would like to spice it up a bit and still keep within the theme of the site. I could do this on my own however I don't have the time to sit down and search the web and put everything together in photoshop.

I have purchased the WoW Ultimate theme from CT and I have edited and changesd cosome of the graphical aspects of it to make it look more custom.
