Like most other grand parents that run Guild Wars guilds my level of computer expertise doesn't go too far beyond word processing, spread sheets, very basic data bases and e mails. When my previous site went down in December 2006 I did the normal kick the computer and cat routine. I then contacted my Host to be informed nothing on their end was at fault. For the next two months I chased around the previous page makers by telephone and e mail. Like a rabid dog that had been shot in the head I gave up what I had finally realised was a Quixotic pursuit.
I searched the web and found Clan themes.
After numerous e mails which were all answered politely I decided to have the artisans of Clan Thems design my page. I went with the Guild Wars theme that is available for purchase on this site, with a few twists. It seemed as though it would be a straightforward revamp of an old site. Little did we know that there were gremlins in the works that would test and try the patience of Ped. He has done a sterling job and I have no hesitation in thanking him and am proud to allow Clan Themes to advertise on our site.
There were twists and turns in the coding parts of the host/admin area that only an expert like Ped could work out. I realise he used the brains trust of this site for assistance but he was the one that had to put up with the lazy host not making things easy for him. He also advised me that the old site was less than secure and suggested i upgrade to Raven Nuke. I did so in good faith hoping beyond hope that this would provide my guild with a secure and aesthetically appealing web site. Once the site has been running for a few days I will add a review in the relevant area.
I am very happy with the professionalism shown by Ped and through him clan themes. Thank you for your efforts and I look forward to enjoying my new site.
