Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to use one of the phpbbhacks called "sub-forums" with out phpnuke...

I tried to do it from the phpbb, but it didn't work so well in my forums, so I had to put the old files back xD

If someone could give me a link to for a phpnuke version, it would be awesome... or just tell me what to do to make it able to work with phpnuke's phpbb.

you can grab it from western studios http://www.westernstudios.net/ its in their downloads m8

just search for sub forums

I registered, found the download but I can't find the link to download it.. help please? :)

EDIT: My problem is, I have the latest IE browser, and I don't see a download image.

When I use Firefox, I see a downloads image, but no link :(

could some1 get it for me? thanks..

As it says it only supports subforum one level deep. For more than that you should go to the phpbb site and search it.

I managed to download it, however, I believe this hack needs to be updated...

I did all the steps, line by line...

I got a few lines that were not found, so I look for something somewhat similar...

The problem is, after I saved all of the files my forums where gone. All I had was a blank page.

So I had to (Control+Z) while using Dreamweaver and got my site back to normal...

Could anyone alse test this, in a phpnuke 7.9 running site? I don't think I am the only one having trouble xD

you were lucky to be able to go back, you should always, always make backups when editing files

You should put hide errors off, so you can see the errors and might edit it

I've ran into the same problem with this mod, meaning a blank Forum Index page.

Nuke Version: 2.20.01 Raven
Virgin install with no forum mods installed except for the attachment mod included in the Add-Ons with the Raven Distro.

I've tried this mod (downloaded from clan-themes) twice now, on two seperate installs of Ravenuke, both being different versions. However the previous was so heavily modded, that at the time when that one didnt work, I simply wrote it off as being the cause.
With this fresh install though, once I navigate to what is supposed to be the index of my forums, it loads the header sections, and blanks out past that point. An obvious error of sorts, but I'm stumped as to what it is.

The error occurs with my custom theme in addition to fisubice and DeepBlue that is included with the RavenDistro.

Any help you can supply or point to would be greatly appreciated. Also, if this would be better split from this topic and posted by itself, feel free to move it and I apologize, I simply did it because I arrived in this thread through the search function.

I'm facing the same problem now too, I'm sure I did every thing I need.
Except, view_topic.tpl for one of my themes not all, because I couldn't find the exact lines I'm suppose to edit. but still a blank page thats all what I get

I found my problem and all seems to finally be working properly. An oversight on install instructions on my part, which was the following:

I put the following code AFTER instead of BEFORE. I feel like such a goof, :P
