nope, no where to put the replacement code in the 7.9 version. Very odd.
Is anybody else running phpNuke 7.9 as I would be interested if how they got around this?
I have even tried dropping in the code in probable areas, but all that results in is killing the posting ability as the variables are all wrong.
I guess its uninstall time for me.. shame really as it has some cool options.
Maybe when I get the time I will test this and tweak it on a local version of phpnuke 7.9
I do know in 7.9 they changed a lot of the code, most obvious one was the screw up over the centre block news, they forgot to add the various html tags which killed images and formatting on existing news items.
I don't like giving in so easily, but the peeps on R-force will string me up if posting is offline for any longer.

Cough! Never use fantastic-o to upgrade lol or you will get a fantastic disaster.
Yep, that's what I get for being lazy. I really should know better than to use that auto script.
Something interesting, occured. In my backup version of bbcode.php that bit of code is there.
My host has upgraded recently and have been fighting with their Firebox's for a few days. So maybe some code went walkabout when I was editing?
Anyway now I know it works on 7.9, I will give it a try again later.
It still puzzles me how that code went walkabouts? (as I checked all the edit history on my editor and I did not accidentally remove it), oh well at least it explains the previous freaky things with the bbcode in the posts when the mod was installed.

Many thx guys.
I done it all again. Offline this time, then UL'd it to the server. All working perfectly.
My extra little tip for peeps without phpBB skins in their theme (using default subsilver) who want to use this on their forums (Not sure if this posted elswhere here, sorry if its already been posted.).
for the bbcode.tpl, posting_body.tpl and style.css,
mod the files in these locations.
modules/Forums/templates/subSilver/bbcode.tpl
modules/Forums/templates/subSilver/posting_body.tpl
modules/Forums/templates/subSilver/subSilver.css (Mod this instead of style.css)
This assigns the code to your default forum subSilver skin. which allows all the default phpNUKE themes and ones without forum skins to use the mod.
Anyway I would like to say many thx again to the peeps who helped out and also those ported this forum mod to phpnuke, thx guys.

Hey Guys,
I'd Just like to say thanks to floppy for listening to us all whine and cry about the posting body issue. These things happen and you still rock! lol
How do you think I feel? I uploaded all the files and changed the body etc etc and went to work for a 9 hour shift, came back to our irc to find twenteen and a half private messages from my clan members doing axactly the same thing we just done to you.
Also, to Ymryl, Thanks for the post man, I scoured the forums for a good, oooh, 10 minutes in vain before I came across your post, thanks man!
