Hey All,

I got this block from ourscripts.net and for some reason the text doesnt show :s It may be bad coding or it may just be me! more than likely the latter.. but anyway my REAL question is this... does any one know of a Shoutbox that would work with Ravens PHP-Nuke Distro? I have been trying to get this one to work now for what seems like years (only 2 days) but still it is one of annoying niggly things...

Any help would be appreciated ;)

Yeah thats what I thought Ped, if you do post in the shoutbox block it doesn't show anything yet if you go into the module it will show everything!

OK I just read this on the ourscripts.net forum:

Wow Wee Ped! mate if you could do one of those to match our theme aswell that would be poke! dont suppose you could do it so admins can ban or delete posts etc as well?

Oh and dont forget the emotes ahahaha, man I didnt know you could do that Ped... If I did I would of added that onto the theme wish list lol

This sounds like you had a version of the software here previously and did a re-install. Shoutbox 8.5 should work fine without problems.

You will however encounter problems if you have a previous version installed and have installed either a newer or a second version over the top with the exact problem you state.

This was a first time install of the shoutbox... doesnt matter now Heefy, Ped is gonna make us a poke flash one to go with our theme!

lol Its got fudge all to do with raven, ive seen his post regarding the footer crap... since when did he become a law enforcer !

he might refuse to help you... but so what there are plenty of other sites out there that can help , and out of respect for nuke yes you could just add a poxy 20x20 image some where on your site linking back to phpnuke.org

i like the fact how he has totally changed his footer to his own liking to suit his sites needs and it doesn't even link back to phpnuke org ...

sounds like a bit of don't do as i do, do as i say !! Sleepy

which reminds me we need to add ours ! lol

I have a dam lot of respect for raven and all of his admins, they have helped me out no end and others im sure, ive also donated to him on several occasions in his support but i don't see why its got anything to do with him what so ever about the footer notice, in my personal opinion it looks absolutely retarded and spoils your site.... i can post some links here to some top sites for nuke that have also removed it but i wont ... just gets silly then..
