Shop Purchases:Multi-T3 Multi Gaming Theme
Does anyone know of a way for me to either limit a users amount of downloads per day or limit a user to a certain size limit like 1 meg of downloads a day total. I am trying to save bandwidth and either of these would work. Does someone know of a way to help me ?

i bet this could be done, i know Western Studios does this or there downloads they have a limit downloads to 3 a day for none subscribers, where as us here at CT uses points, and we can set the points to what ever we like for a downloads...

As a start, couldn't you use something similar to what restricts pm box limits and implement it's coding to work somewhat with download allowances? I mean, everything should be there to setup the beginning code for limiting other options such as downloads and uploads. Also, this site has something that limits and counts the amount of uploads for the bonus feature that was just implemented. Wouldn't that be something similar? Instead of limiting or counting the amount, it could be modded to limit and/or count size.

Not that I know a whole lot about PHP, but the ideal seems to be the same.

Something like what is here would be a terrific start. This is just for saving bandwidth. I never looked at nukecoder but definately will. Thanks for the tips my friends. If you would care to share the code on how you put a cost on your downloads please feel free to pm it to me if not i understand.
