Post Nuke styles edl module v2.1 admin problem Posted: Wed Aug 06, 2008 9:33 am

Hey all, I've downloaded Nuke Styles EDL Module V2.1 dm1a 7.6-7.9 w/Admin Fixes from reelsoundofmusic.com, but I have a big admin problem. Whenever I click the admin button for EDL It doesn't work. Since my webhost doesn't show an error message, but it redirects to it's homepage, I can't be really detailed about whats wrong. I just can't access admin. PLZ help!!!

WEll to enable error messages you would open up your config.php located at your root of your site and find
Code:
$display_errors = false;

and change it to
Code:
$display_errors = true;

Not that that's probably going to help much

What version of nuke do you have ?

BTW you should have probably downloaded this version, as its the version that works !

Run the installer m8, read the instructions in there too... you may get an error saying some of the tables were not installed.

Regarding the abbreviations, do you know how long it took me to find that pesky mod !!
Its called Acronyms Mod erm i know i have it on my pc, not sure if its on the site

Post Nuke styles edl module v2.1 admin problem Posted: Sat Aug 09, 2008 11:58 am

I've finally managed it to get the EDL running. However, in the admin I see a lot of _THEREARE , _DOWNLOADSINDB ,... I guess defenitions. This should be normal text. Don't know where it went wrong, but luckely it's only in admin.

I also want to change something. When you add a download as a user, you have to enter the filsize. It says filsize: (input field) (In Bytes - 1024 bytes = 1 Kilobyte)
I want to change the (In Bytes - 1024 bytes = 1 Kilobyte) part.
I want it to say (In Bytes - Click Here to Convert Any File Size Unit To Bytes)
The "Click Here to Convert Any File Size Unit To Bytes" should be a link to a popup window:
Code:
<a href="javascript:openpopup()">Click Here to Convert Any File Size Unit To Bytes</a>

Like this, and the script for it is the following:
Code:
<script>

//Popup Creator
//By Disipal Site (http://www.disipal.net)
//PHP-Nuke Tools

function openpopup(){
var popurl="disipal.htm"
winpops=window.open(popurl,"http://tf2gaming.leadhoster.com/Bytes-Calculator.html","width=400,height=338,")
}

</script>

How do I get this working?

Those are language definitions and it should be a file in the module directory OR added to the actual admin language file.

I would rescan the installation instructions for that info.
