I am wondering if it would be benefical for me to update my site from php nuke 8.0 to nuke evolution or raven or platinum. I would like a more secure site for my clan but also would like to keep the same theme if possible. I do not have the background about phpnuke so I would like your counsel & guidance. Is there one eaiser to upgrade than another? Does one have more features than another? Is one more secure than another? Thanks for you input.

PHPNuke themes should work on RavenNuke.
And what I hear here on CT is that RavenNuke Is the best one.

This is a common issue for a lot of users on this site:
You may want to do a search for the Topics!
Nuke Platinum: is NOT recommended...mostly because it no longer being developed. The new Development Team that took the project over cant even fix most of the bugs in the system so event THEY aren't supporting it.
Raven Nuke: can be summed up as ( Simplicity ) its EASY to administrate.
Nuke Evolution: can arguably be the most 'secure' and 'fastest' Nuke Distro to date. It also has more features then any other distros to date. The downfall is that with those features comes added administration...anyone new to it will probably take 2 weeks just to learn how to administrate.
The best suggestion ANYONE can give you is to decide what features you want on your website, then research those features against the distro options available.
Conversions are easy from one distro to another, but i wouldn't recommend keeping ANY data aside from Forums, & Users ! Your opening yourself up to problems if your insistent on keeping 100% of your database.
You will not recieve help from me if i have to go digging for your CMS information and version, If i have to take the time to play 21 questions, then you can take the time to google!
