Just to warn, this version of the php121 is a pain. I am using it and am now currently just using it as a starting point to build something that works. About 50% of the time, when you open this messenger (2.2 version) it blanks out. Also, there are no admin or mod options. Plus, just for information, make sure that whatever config file you are having to configure, you change the name of the file to config.php (which is not stated in the manual).

I am talking to some flash people about making a flash environment to open a messenger in (going to use some scripting from php121 as a starting point). It likely work more smoothly and be independent of the browser. It shouldn't be difficult to implement it to use the nuke user table so that someone has to be signed into the site to use it or see it.

In conclusion, the php121 messenger is, in my opinion, just a starter script. You have to build the rest from there or give them money in hopes that the v3 will be better. There are likely more options available, but it is still browser based and constricted to be redirected to a blank page from time to time.

I have to agree with BulletMag, I also use the 3.0 and mates with paul (The PHP121 Founder). Still waiting for 3.1 which should be soon just waiting for tripknotix to finish the buddy update, the 3.1 version allows the window to resize and resizes the whole page including input, just like MSN.

It is alot more updated and has better graphics than the public free download and will always be.

Regards

Shop Purchases:
Enemy Territory Theme (Aviator) for PHP Nuke

It's not that bad, but I had it for a few days and got rid of it for 45% of my users couldn't see it, 40% of the people it didn't work right, and 15% had it work half of the time, the other half of the time it was blank or would not login with there nuke account. I found it more of a hassle and knowing that no-one on my site would use it since we all talk on trillian, it wasn't worth it. But I do like the concept.
