Shop Purchases:
Call Of Duty 4 PhpNuke Theme (Technical) · Call of Duty 4 Ultimate Theme

I have problems installing this module - http://www.clan-themes.co.uk/downloaddetails-9-181-mreviews-v30.html
I am currently running a Raven Nuke site but set up a demo Phpnuke site as well to test this module , on both it fails

What happens is when you access the module via front page it says - you cannot accesss this file

It also affects the admin area as when you goto modules administration and press any button like advertising , comments etc it takes you straight back to the homepage and not the actual module

I really need a good review module and playing with this is doing my head in!!!

Can anyone help ???

Many thanks in advance

Hi mate, you should take a look at the review module i currently use - it features review categories, drop down box within each review to include pages titles (makes navigating a review a whole lot easier for your readers - lets them skip the pages they dont want to read), easier multiple page adding/editing of single pages.

You can see it running on my site HERE and you can download it from the creators website HERE

I have used MReviews in the past and still have it running on my site - if you take a look at our user reviews you will see the difference (our user review modile is running MReviews) whilst our main reviews is running LD_Reviews.

Hope this helps - LD_Reviews is a much better module than MReviews :)

Hi mate,
Glad it worked for you, if you have any problems with the LD_Reviews module, i made a couple of forum posts about some minor issues - however i think the developer corrected these problems and added the edited files to the download - so it should be good to go.

If you should come across any probs you can see my forum posts on the LD Software forums HERE

Good luck with your new module and site - once you start using it you will be amazed at how much easier adding a review is :)

Hi mate,
The module LD_Reviews works on hits as opposed to ratings - but u could add an image on the first page of review with a rating number. Because of the nature of our reviews we made a rating block/image that can be seen on the conclusion page of our review - not sure if this is something you could do.

I do have a review module that is identical to MReviews - it was edited by a guy i know and works perfectly, it's had a few adjucstments made to suit the natuire of our reviews - but if you want i would be willing to let you have it.

I persoanlly love the LD_Reviews module and is by far the best review module we have ever used - however it all depends on what you intend to use your review module for. If you don't intend on writing multiple page reviews then it possibly wouldn't be best suited for you.

I'm sure the problem you are having is a really simple fix: if you have msn my msn is: dimention32@hotmail.com
