Hey everyone

This one has really baffled me, when someone registers, they should receive a verification email, but they don't, and i've not got a clue as to how to get around it.

Is there a way to turn validation/verification off ?

Shop Purchases:Enemy Territory Theme (Aviator) for PHP Nuke
I prefer not to use those auto register.

I have found that people that are using forwarding email addresses, usually don't receive an email, Also the users that aren't getting emails, are they also looking in there spam folder. allot of emails will mark it as spam.

There is a nice program module called activate, you can read it there and download from there site, you will need to create an account there.

Only thing i don't Like about Activate is the admin has to individually activate each member, although it is much better at stopping spam registerants. i stopped that by adding the Security code sytem though :)..

in anycase Digitalis its upto you what you prefer, i have to say the link DreAdeDcoRpSE has given is most likley the best system, if you want to activate your members..

Yeah they checked there spam, and it's really weird, because it used to work perfectly, i probably screwed it trying to install some mod lol Embarrased

Awesome thank you so much for your advice, at the moment i think i will go with Dreaded's because there's not that many people registering so i will easily stay on top of it.

The check sum's don't stop all the spam. I rather have full control over who comes and joins for I don't want the spam and what not. I can see on a high volume site where you are having 30 people a day and only 5 are getting the emails, in that case, I would probably go your root, for a site like mine that has people register once and a while, mostly to download my blocks,modules, or the programs I have on my site, I go the root that I am doing.
