Inspiration...Posted:

Well,
I was thinking of creating a clan for COD4, and ended up at this site due to the Clan Roster modification which I would of liked. I came here to ask if the medals could be used on a stand alone phpBB and got into a nice discussion with Doc, Bayler and DreadedCorpse. After looking at this and the conversations with these three guys, I decided since I could code HTML sites, to try my game at PHP. Therefore, I hand it to this place for the inspiration of learning the code to be used elsewhere.
From what I have heard on this site, if I get any problems understanding anything, I know this is a place where I can come and have the chance for the help (Since this is a free site and voluntary, I wouldn't expect everything on a plate) but I see this place as a welcoming, friendly and supportive place.
When (and IF) I learn PHP and get to grips with it, I may even be up there with these PHP Guru's assisting the new guys which I hope this place can also inspire and support.
This is just my two cents on the site...
Thanks Guys

Thankyou. I am still somewhat new to this site, (meaning being active), and somewhat new to php myself. I mean I been messing with it for a few years now since I had my first phpBB forums. But it was my friend that told me about nuke and how it will save me lots of time editing my site. I wasn't happy when he told me since at that time I just figured out how to use the phpBB login to also control users functions on my regular site, which was all HTML.
Overall, I found that phpnuke community has been allot better then the phpBB community in resolving problems. And for my to pay back to the community that help me when i was new, I give the knowledge that I have back, and I think thats how it is with all the others.
good luck with setting up the site, and you know that if you run into any problems, we will help to the best that we can.
