well get this,

Saturday Telli from codewiz submitted a copyright claim against him, and his site was down all day. He removed his files too so it was a double wammy !!

Yesterday, phpnuke-downloads submitted a claim against us (clan themes) pretending to be Telli !! our host shut us whilst they looked into it...

what a total idiot, im sure its illegal to impersonate someone else, were still looking into it to be honest to see what we can do about it

Wow.
Well I never suspended a hosting account when I was doing hosting without contacting the site owner first so I'm surprised your host just closed you immediately without doing some preliminary checking.
I'm assuming you have spoken to Telli regarding this to confirm it is a bogus claim. If it were me, I would certainly want some compo for loss of earnings.
On the bright side though, they must be getting desperate to try such an underhand tactic which means, your getting under their skin ;)

It would be very interesting to see if PayPal were contatced regarding one of my previous posts in this thread to see if/what action they took.

Yes Telli was contacted about it, Telli and Floppy are good associates as well, as Floppy is a moderator on codwizz i think.

Not sure where we stand now as he has claimed copyright for the Clan Roster regarding Paypal ...

Elementary my dear Watson.

There are approx 102 domains associated with the IP of the server so I got to thinking, thats not enough accounts for a shared hosting account server, ergo it must be a VPS or possibly a dedicated server - most likely a dedicated server.
So I dug a bit more and I found several domains using that IP and of the few domains I could look up, they all had the same owner so I did not think it would be too much of a stretch to assume all the domains on that server belong to the same person.

Of course this is still an assumption, but if that is not your guy, he knows who he is as he is using his server :)
I should get a medal for that one lol.
