Probably have it like another version of the group, as you said, but have it able to be set up by the user and controlled by the user to who they like to allow into there clan, but of course, editable by admin, just in-case of one of those "cock smokers". Also, another nice feature would to have it so color can be added and or other features would be, mass clan PM, also maybe in the left table, where it displays the name, you would seen to the left or right of the name, the clan tag along with like under it, have it say like, Clan leader, Clan Member, Clan Probie. Have it so when they set up the clan information, the leader can set the status of that member.
Future features could some how tie into vWar or something simmular so if a clan registers, matches, and other info could be directly PMed to them. I know, sounds like allot, but its just idea's being thrown around.
