I posted my question on the 14th so there was still the friday in my eyes if you offer support monday to friday.
I am not asking for 365 day 24/7 support but when i see someone has been online how am i supposed to know you are away for the weekend ?As I said in my post i dont expect anyone to jump the minute i ask a question but even if one of the others had left a post saying you were away i would have just waited till monday for your return.
I was NOT informed you were away untill AFTER i posted the complaint today, if i had been i would have waited. I too have kids and like to spend time with them or take them away for weekends etc so I do understand.
As for it not being a business !! if you offer items for sale to the general public then that constitutes being a business.
If someone pays for an item or service they expect some sort of after sales advice etc.
I am not trying to give you a hard time but how am i supposed to know this is just a past time ? to most people that come across your site for the first time like i did, they will see it as a business as you 'sell' products and services.
It would also not be fair to the hundreds of other site members if you closed the site down when you are away because I complained, maybe just a sticky post to say you are away for a week, weekend, day etc so no support or answers available till your return would be a better idea
