what does Raven offer that isn't in Platinum. Other that I can't really find good supprt for Platinum?

Was updating my Raven Nuke and i was unable to log back into admin, I tried everything i even tried a brandnew install still i kept getting begone error messege when i tried to sign in as admin. I eventually found a thread about not using illegal characters as it will give you this messege.

By now im scratching my head as the only character i was using was apparently allowable wich was a hyphen. I decided to remove the hyphen and hey presto im in :) Is apparent that in new version of raven nuke not even - (hyphen) is allowed
Just a heads up if anyone has version 2.20.00 not to use hyphen in creating a superuser (admin) account.

Edit found another bug regarding avatars wich im finding annoying I keep getting a session ended error when trying to submit an avatar.
Error reporting is on but it not reprting an actuall error, i know error reprting is working as ive seen the log for other errors wich ive since fixed.

I would post this on Raven site but i cant :( i cannot register at all for some reason.

Works ok for me bro Wink

make sure your uploading your own or for that matter changing your avatar in the Forums Profile Edit Area. That's where I change mine and it works everytime.

I have yet to be impressed with this version of RavenNuke, by all accounts, so far, it's still somewhat of a vinilla version of Nuke.

Just an FYI for the Platinum ppl out there, support is probably going to be somewhat limited as the main creator of Platinum has fallen ill and is not supposed to return, much less to do anything stressful.

What is left of b5 is going to be interesting, it seems there are a number of people who want to continue the work, but, on the same token they are fighting with others like a pack of rats over it so be careful who and where you get your support from.

Support for platinum can be found in a couple of different places, www.darkforgegfx.com is one of them and is probably the most note worthy. Other than that just read up on the updates at www.futurenuke.com

RavenNuke is awesome. There were times i had to cry day and night and going through all the sites looking for help to fix the bugs that comes with Original phpnuke. But now RavenNuke is all the solution i was looking for.

Its very simple to do m8 and would be well worth doing it yourself for future reference.

DreAd has made some great video tutorials, im sure he has a raven nuke install one somewhere ill try dig it out for you.
