I have tried to do this on another site that I have and screwed it all up.
What would it cost for you guys to upgrade my forums, so I dont have to worry about me messing it up?

I need help bad... Confused

hello i just upgraded a site using the BBtoNuke2023 from here http://www.nukeresources.com/downloadview-details-1339-BBtoNuke_2.0.23_for_Nuke_8.0_and_newer.html
i am using the latestest release of ravennuke and it worked for me i just extracted to desktop extracted files are modules folder and upgrade22-23.php overwrite all files it ask to then run the upgade file www.yoursite.com/upgrade22-23.php follow instructions i did this all it said was successfull please delete this file from your ftp. thats all i did and fourms are up to date now in latest ravennuke release if thats version of nuke you use this say's for nuke 8.0 and newer but ravennuke is based on 7.6 i think but anyhow it worked for me. cheers hope this helps. it should work for you depeneding on version of nuke your using not sure it it will work with lower version under 7.6 any way best of luck.

I would like to stay with 7.6 and just upgrade my forums. I am trying to get the cost of the upgrade for clan-themes to knock it out for me.

Do you have any forum MODs currently installed buddy?

As this may be the cause of the error... If not then it should go through pretty easy as nighthawkwnc says, its not that big an upgrade TBH.

Can we have a link to your site and have you turned on error reporting in *.ROOT.*/config.php??

As this will give you more detailed info on where the error is occuring.

No I have a fresh install now, so I was going to get with someone about upgrading the forums and adding the stuff like popup forums and advanced bbcode .

Would any one be willing to help me out?

i would help ya but i just recently discovered a flaw in the update process i posted earlier i was testing on the new raven nuke release however when i went to my forums admin ithe user managment would not show up so i tried this i reuploaded my original admin_user.php to the modules/Forums/admin after that the menu shows up now when i updated Forums this file was overwritten not sure if i should have done this but seems to be working. you will be fine just get that download in previous post i made and extract to desktop in will create folder called BBtoNuke2023NP80 inside that folder is the modules folder and upgrade22-23.php

back up the admin_user.php in modules/Forums/admin first

once thats done go ahead and upload the modules folder and the upgrade22-23.php to your ftp root directory
once done if it ask to overwrite files say yes

now go to your url
www.yoursite.com/upgrade22-23.php run this it should say bbto nuke updated delete the upgrade22-23.php from your server IE your ftp
now if you overwrite the files go to your site and to admin then Forums admin and see if your user management page shows up when you want to edit a user if not upload your backup admin_user.php to modules/Forums/admin

Doc,

I dont have any mods on the forums installed, but would like to have the advanced BB code box and the flashy perview that you have on your fourms. I am using PHP nuke and in the past few weeks I have been getting alot of :

There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience.

We should be back shortly.

Errors. I havent changed anything. I hoped that the upgrade to the forums would correct the problem.

I can give you any access you need. I need help badly. It is a fresh install of nuke and I have not modded the forums any.

I got the errors taking care of. It was my gallery that was hanging up the sessions.

I still would like someone to upgrade and add features to my forums.
