Wondered if someone could help.

Basically we are using phpnuke 7.9 fully patched running sentinal (fully up to date). We are using nuke phpbb (again fully up to date).

Over the last week or so we have been receiving a high volume of very explicit pornographic images/text within our forums, along with this we have one (possibly more) guys posting anon to say they have just registered on our forums and not to be angry with him.

However there have been no new registrations and underneath their chosen guest username is displays the word guest and they are also shown as anon users in our center forum block.

All our forum board are set to the following:

View: ALL
Read: All
Post: REG
Reply: REG
Edit: REG
Delete: ADMIN
Sticky: Admin
Announce: Admin
Vote: REG
Poll Create: REG

The forum module itself is set to display to ALL.

This has been happening quite regularly for the last 3 days and in that time we have removed around 40 instances of porn.

I set the forum module to only be displayed to registered users early yesterday evening and we did not have a single post of this nature until i opened them back up this morning
Within 2 hours of me opening them back up to all users we have had to remove another 8 posts from them.
I have added the ip's into the forum admin as banned ip's. However this will not sort the problem out as the person(s) doing this is using different ip's every time.

Any ideas? I asked our webhosts to look into this and they cannot find any problem other than the fact we dont have activation emails sent to the users when they register.

I cannot see this as being the problem because in order for them to post they would still have to fill out the reg form and login.

Any help would be great.
