I have had the same problems before, maybe it's time to change ISP...There could be many reasons why you aint getting max (HUH MAX LMFAO)... I could depend on your location, what kinda phone line you have, wether you have interleaving activated on your line or not, You Router/modem, interference from outside your house, a really good place to go and moan and learn about broadband is... http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/ look for you provider,very informative.

up to 8 mb doesn't mean 8 mb though, My area is capable of 4mb max at the moment, the most i can get is just over 2mb.

What!!!! i pay 48 Canadian For UPTO 5KBPS DSL connection hehe and the Central Office is about 3 miles from my place hehe How Wierd :S Thats like 10$ Euro ain't it hehehe :d god you guy are getting Screwed OVER Badly !!! :D

hey ped i have same issues, granted my speed is around the 2 meg mark but as i was told it was a 4meg line and now they have the gonads to tell me i only on a 1meg line
