A quick question as I have never really understood this login area.

Are you already logged in when you see it ie from the front page?

You need to zip it up using something like winzip or similar then upload to your FTP using something like smartFTP then let your host know the exact location where you uploaded it to.

Thats sounds a bit odd. In my experience the block would have to be uploaded to the blocks folder of your site.
