NukeLadder enables you to run competitions with a Php-Nuke website. Previous versions only allowed you to run a "league" type system.
NukeLadder now enables you to use mods. This lets you choose the type of competition for each competition.
In simple terms you can run multiple leagues and ladders and other mod all at the same time.
Currently there are 3 mods packaged with this release, more may show up in the download section.

League Mod is the default of the past nukeladder, with a few changes from 2.3(you can challenge lower ratings ect now)
Teams can challenge each other and play based on a rating. This rating is determined within the mod and can be changed.
Though if you do this, please submit it as a mod for others, ie an ELO system?
This is basically challenge and play whoever has the best rating is on top.
There used to be talk of using a better rating system and I think that would be a good idea, contact me if you have ideas.
Ladder Mod is a beta project which now seems to be working rather well as a mod.
This allows you to rung a ladder type system based on rungs. Teams care only allowed to challenge up an alloted number of rungs.
If a defending team loses a match the winner takes thier spot and the loser drops and alloted number of rungs.
Knockout Mod
This was a fun mod i worked up in about 20 minutes, I copied the league mod and changed it so that the standings are listed by the number of stars your team has.
You start with 5 stars, when you lose a match, you lose a star.
When you lose your last star your knocked out.
There is only one way to gain stars, if you have it enabled.
If enabled, teams can gain stars by knocking out another team.
Teams cannot quit this competition. |
