Everyone is a noob at some point! No one begins playing a game with elite skills and playing ability. Knowledge of maps and game-play comes only from experience and time spent playing the game!

It can be rough for a 'noob' in the first few days of playing a new game like America's Army. Experienced players move faster and more confident with smooth advances from one point to another while new players are slow and awkward. The chat console quickly fills with derogatory remarks by experienced players who die due to a 'noob's' inability to open a door or utilize a sniper rifle in a timely manner. New players learn slowly and often have many, many questions.

Like any other organization, a clan's survival is built upon a foundation of purpose! The Freedom Coalition found its beginnings and its purpose in being a 'noob' friendly clan! The Coalition did not want to become an 'elite' competition clan, rather, wanted to be known for being 'noob' friendly, patient, and strengthened by the friendships that grow along the way!

The {FC} grew quickly in its early stages as it hosted two small servers that were limited to low HONOR players and constantly monitored to protect true 'noobs' from frag hunters. {FC} players constantly played with these 'noobs' in an effort to help them learn to navigate maps, work strategically, and develop game-play skills. Players were instantly attracted to the {FC} hosted noob servers where they were able to play at their own pace, learning quickly because their questions were greeted with friendly answers rather than rude admonishments for simply being new to the game!

It has been two years since the {FC} was born, and it has found itself experiencing the ups and downs of life. Members have supported each other through losses of family members, celebrated the birth of children, and visited each other in real life - even across continents!

The Coalition now finds its home at www.aafreedom.com and retains its original roots in being a 'noob' friendly clan! It is our goal to make friends, enjoy the America's Army game, and help others enjoy it as much as we have!
