Hall of Shame 1.3.1

Author: Troy Moore (aka: Duck, Duckster)

Website: mrc.clanservers.com

Release Date: Jan 14 2007

The Hall of Shame is a module written for and tested on PHP-Nuke Platinum and PNC 3 and 4. It is basically a cheaters list module for clans to keep track of and publicly shame the punks who cheat on their servers.

It is the First module I've written but it is fairly configurable and full of a variety of features which include:

Front end:

  • Category Index
  • Reason Index
  • View in-line Demos and Screenshots
  • Browse by several methods
  • Search Punks by Name GUID or IP
  • Open Screenshots and Demos in New window right from Punk Lists

Back End:

  • Turn Right side blocks on or off
  • Configure output dimensions of Screenshots and Demos
  • Configure Sort displays
  • Read your member lists from existing tables (like vwar) or use built in table
  • Configure Search results and Punk lists

To Download Hall of Shame 1.3.1 you can get it from:

Good idea! I'm sure there's plenty of people looking for something like this. Are there any legal liabilities though? what if someone is mistaken for a cheater and they push for legal action? is it possible?

I don't think there should be legal ramifications of dire consequence. Basically it is gonna be hard to mistakenly ban someone which in the rare case that it happens that is an advantage to having this as people can find out why they werre band and by who should they wish to appeal. So it is really for the benifit of the mistaken as well.
