With the release of patch 1.05 Vegas now has the ability to launch a stand alone dedicated server without the use of a CD/DVD. After your update, check your binaries directory for for the dedicatedserver.exe file. This will launch the game as a stand alone server. Edit your config and create your .bat launch file. Ours is up and running just fine. It took several hours to configure the files correctly in order for players to be able to connect. The sample version supplied by PB does NOT allow concurrent connections.
